Just got a call from the 3190 court therapist. We're supposed to split the report fee and the girls' sessions and pay in full for our own sessions. Ugh... this stuff is expensive. But what if he doesn't pay? Apparently they will try and try and finally have the option to see only the girls and I. Earliest appt is mid June. That only gives us about 3 sessions at most. Hopefully its enough.
Just notes for myself:
Report fee: $500 - paid 1/2
Each session: $150 - will pay 1/2 for girls and full for myself at each appt
Approx frequency: 1 session per week in Rancho Cucamonga
Court Hearing Date: July 2nd.
Not sure if you got my other message, but you could try what the girl at my work did. Silent auction and she was able to raise $3500 for her court costs. Could work out really well?
ReplyDeleteYes I received your email. I think that's great that she is getting help from her community. I wish I had the time required to pull off a fundraiser like that. My schedule is pretty crazy. That $3500 will pay the retainer fee for her attorney. So that's a good start.
ReplyDeleteYeah fair point. Probably helps that she doesn't actually have the kids most of the time, which certainly gives her more time. She told me this morning that she gets them every other week this summer because he is not working with the guardian ad litem... yay for her :).
